The Nigerian American Flag

Muriel Stockdale has created her unique U.S. Flag series in recognition and celebration of the cultural diversity of the different races making up the United States of America.

Over half a million Nigerians reside in all the fifty states and the federal district of America and Muriel Stockdale's Nigerian American Flag shown above is in honor of the Nigerian Americans, whose remarkable and laudable achievements are symbolic models of the great American Dream.

The following is her statement on the inspiration of the Nigerian American Flag:
Here is a particularly multicultural flag; the fabric is made in Switzerland for the Nigerian market. It is made for wear as an elaborate and glorious head wrap that makes the Nigerian woman wearing it look like a goddess. This flag is set in a delicate light gold frame
