Do Not Tell Me Tales

Do Not Tell Me Tales

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your tongue-in-cheek fables.

Do not tell tales
Tales of your pedestrian fancies.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your veiled carnalities.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your hallucinatory wet dreams.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your vain passions
Passions that will blur my visions.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of the wandering daughters of lust
Daughters of lust who are already lost.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your so-called love for me
The love that even my spirit cannot even see.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your idle gossips
Gossips of your scarlet lips.

Do not tell me tales
Tales of your serpentine lies
For as the serpent lies, so she dies.

  1. i have to tell you tales

i have to tell you tales of my fancy
of my veiled love and scared joy

i have to tell you of daughters
lost, once before, in the past
    before i saw you

i have to gasp, and speak
i have to say a story
of an undying love within my tales

listen, do you hear the ebb
the sound of what is and is truth
in my lies and sweet fantasies

    I have to tell you
I have to explain to you
I have to tell you, so can would know

whats truth and what is love
