Beckham 8/1 for 2011 Premier League Return

MANCHESTER, England, December 30, 2010/PRNewswire/ -- David Beckham is 8/1 with Betfred to play in the English Premier League during 2011 after reportedly being chased as a loan signing by six top-flight clubs.

Betfred spokesman Jon Wilde said: "Beckham may well be in demand from a host of English teams, but we consider it unlikely he will spend the winter here having recently re-iterated he would only want to wear the Manchester United shirt."

In other special bets to mark the new year, Jose Mourinho is 7/2 to manage a Premier League club during 2011, while Manchester City are 16/1 to break the transfer fee world record.
